How Bomi Billing fees work

  • Bomi invoices at the end of the month.
  • The 4% fee is based on net collections received during that month.
  • Claims that have not paid yet are not included in that month's Bomi fee.
  • If you decide during onboarding or your first month that Bomi is not the right fit, Bomi will not charge the Bomi billing fee.
  • Pass-through fees, EHR costs, payment processor fees, payer fees, government fees, or standalone credentialing work may still apply when relevant.
  • First four credentialing requests are free when you choose Bomi Billing.

Billing details

4% of net collections.

Therapy practice math

If Bomi gives you back one client slot a week, it can often pay for itself.

Bomi Billing is 4% of net collections, so your practice keeps 96%. For many solo practices, if Bomi saves enough admin time, billing stress, or claim follow-up to open one additional client slot each week, that session can often cover the fee.

Example

20 sessions / week
$125 average
Monthly collections
$10,825
Bomi fee at 4%
$433 / month
One extra session / week
$520 after 4%

In this example, one additional weekly session more than offsets Bomi's monthly fee.

If you decide during onboarding or your first month that Bomi is not the right fit, Bomi will not charge Bomi's billing fee. Any pass-through fees, EHR costs, payment processor fees, government fees, payer fees, or completed standalone credentialing work may still apply when relevant.

For example, at 20 sessions per week and $125 collected per session, one additional weekly session more than offsets the example monthly Bomi fee.
