What Bomi Billing handles

You keep ownership of the practice, clinical decisions, client relationships, schedule, and bank account. Bomi handles the insurance work behind the scenes.

Before sessions

Verification of Benefits, eligibility checks, client cost estimates, and benefit summaries.

After sessions

Claims, EOB entry, secondary submissions, patient balances, and payment-plan support.

When things go wrong

Denials, stale claims, underpayments, missing information, expired insurance, and resolution reporting.

As you grow

Roster updates, credentialing maintenance, CAQH, attestations, provider tracking, and revenue reporting.

Aligned with your collections.

Bomi Billing is designed to stay aligned with your practice. We invoice at the end of the month based on net collections actually received. If a claim has not paid yet, Bomi does not take a percentage of it.

Month-to-month

No long-term billing contract. Stay because Bomi is helping, not because you are locked in.

Paid when you are paid

Bomi's 4% fee is based on net collections actually received during the month.

Not a fit? No Bomi billing fee.

If you decide during onboarding or your first month that Bomi is not the right fit, we will not charge Bomi's billing fee.

Pass-through fees, EHR costs, payment processor fees, government fees, payer fees, or completed standalone credentialing work may still apply when relevant.

Works with your existing EHR

No EHR migration required.

Bomi works inside the EHR your practice already uses, so you do not need a major system change just to get billing help. We support SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, and Sessions Health, and we can talk through your current setup during the call.

A cleaner insurance workflow

Bomi Billing is designed for the work that happens before and after sessions, plus the ongoing payer maintenance that keeps the pipeline moving.

1

Map your current payers, EHR, client flow, and billing pain points.

2

Set up Verification of Benefits and eligibility workflows before sessions.

3

Submit claims, enter EOBs, and monitor payer responses after sessions.

4

Track denials, stale claims, balances, credits, and payment plans.

5

Maintain CAQH, attestations, credentialing records, rosters, and reporting.

Therapy practice math

If Bomi gives you back one client slot a week, it can often pay for itself.

Bomi Billing is 4% of net collections, so your practice keeps 96%. For many solo practices, if Bomi saves enough admin time, billing stress, or claim follow-up to open one additional client slot each week, that session can often cover the fee.

Formula

Bomi monthly fee
= weekly sessions x average collected session rate x 4.33 x 4%

One extra weekly session
= 1 x average collected session rate x 4.33 x 96%

Break-even
approximately 24 weekly sessions

Example

20 sessions / week
$125 average
Monthly collections
$10,825
Bomi fee at 4%
$433 / month
One extra session / week
$520 after 4%

In this example, one additional weekly session more than offsets Bomi's monthly fee.

Insurance billing is local, too.

Payer behavior, denial patterns, benefits verification, reimbursement expectations, roster rules, and credential maintenance vary by state and market. Bomi helps you run the insurance workflow for where your clients are actually seen.

Built for solo practices and growing groups.

Solo practices

Clean claims, benefit checks, denials, balances, CAQH, attestations, and simple 4% pricing.

Group practices

Provider rosters, payer enrollment by clinician, credentialing maintenance, denial and A/R reporting, revenue attribution, and optional payout, payroll, QuickBooks, and rate-audit support.

Talk to Bomi about group billing

Therapists use Bomi when they want the practice, not the insurance headache.

Bomi has impressed me with how quickly claims are filed and paid. Their weekly A/R sweeps help me stay current on my end. Bomi is like a trusted in-house billing team. The process of opening my own practice was daunting, but Bomi was an integral part of creating a seamless process on the billing side.

This is the first time owning my own practice. However, I have had some experience with navigating billing. I was actually SHOCKED to see how fast claims were getting paid out. From my previous experiences, other billing professionals told me weeks, maybe months. Bomi has been quick and effective.
