Bomi handles the insurance operations behind your therapy practice: credentialing, Verification of Benefits, claims, EOBs, denials, stale claims, roster updates, CAQH, attestations, patient balances, and revenue reporting.
Yes. Bomi Billing is the core service. Bomi Credentialing helps therapists get payer-ready for billing by organizing CAQH, payer panels, attestations, effective dates, rosters, and the insurance workflow.
Billing
Bomi Billing includes Verification of Benefits, claims, EOB entry, denial tracking, stale-claim follow-up, patient balance tracking, payment-plan support, roster updates, CAQH, attestations, credential management, and revenue reporting.
Bomi Billing is 4% of net collections for ongoing Verification of Benefits checks, billing, credentialing maintenance, claims management, denials, balances, payment plans, and revenue management. No hidden Bomi fees. Required pass-through fees are paid separately.
Yes. Bomi Billing is month-to-month. No long-term billing contract is required.
Bomi invoices at the end of the month based on net collections actually received during that month. If a claim has not paid yet, it is not included in that month's Bomi fee.
Net collections means money actually collected by the practice from insurance or patients, after adjustments that reduce the collected amount. Bomi's fee is based on collected revenue, not on claims that are still unpaid.
Payments go directly to your bank account via EFT from the insurance payer. Bomi tracks, reconciles, and reports payments but does not hold your funds.
Yes. Bomi Billing helps with EOB entry, stale-claim monitoring, denial tracking, resolution reports, outstanding balances, credits, payment plans, and revenue reporting.
EHR
Usually, no. Bomi works inside the EHR your practice already uses and supports SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, and Sessions Health. We can talk through your setup during the call.
Credentialing
Bomi Credentialing is $50 per insurance company / therapist. Your first four are free when you choose Bomi Billing.
Payers usually take 30 to 90 days to approve applications, depending on their review cycle. Bomi helps prepare the payer-facing foundation, submit and track applications, follow up, and organize effective dates.
No. We can talk through payer options and common reimbursement expectations in your area, but rates vary by payer, contract, provider type, license, location, and negotiation.
Yes. Bomi Credentialing can help with CAQH, payer applications, attestations, effective-date tracking, roster updates, and the billing handoff so Bomi Billing is ready when payer approvals become operational.
Groups
Yes. Bomi supports solo practices and group practices. For groups, Bomi can help with provider onboarding, credentialing by clinician, roster updates, claims, denials, balances, revenue reporting, and optional payout support.
